This milestone project was achieved through close collaboration, technical expertise, and the development of solutions that satisfied the stringent requirements of both the Scottish Prison Service (SPS) and the Ministry of Justice (MoJ).
Drawing on our established product range alongside bespoke engineering solutions, Solite successfully delivered a comprehensive lighting package tailored to the demanding prison environment.
In total, Solite manufactured and supplied more than 1,300 luminaires, including a bespoke cornice lighting system incorporating three-compartment trunking and infill sections, enabling seamless luminaire integration and continuous wall-to-wall installation throughout the facility.
The whole design maintained the same high IK impact protection rating as the luminaires themselves, ensuring enhanced durability, security, and protection for all integrated components.
